Calhoun County Museum -
One very interesting exhibit in the museum
is a diorama of the Indianola townsite. Most structures including homes,
businesses, and hotels are numbered and can be identified on the accompanying
legend. |
Approximately two city blocks of the old Indianola townsite
are now in the bay.
The structures shown extending into the bay
are wharves. The middle wharf is the Morgan Wharf which was serviced by
a locomotive. |
